TRACTOR COMPANY CASE STUDY
A tractor company sought to create an experience for customers, retailers and employees using AR, VR HoloLens and Holocube. Catalogues and brochures were marketing tools of the past, and the customers of today demand a unique experience of the product that helps them in relating to it. It is however not practical to take a tractor to every customer.
The company partnered with us to help them create the kind of experience suggested above. We recommended a 3D model of the newly launched tractor, which would enable prospective customers to experience the virtual product in a real-world space.
Out of the Box
The fact that the system provides a simulated driving experience lends context and interactivity, by getting people to talk and create a buzz around the company’s activities. The experience so offered were in terms of perspectives, highlight features, simulations, etc., which gave them a feeling of driving the vehicle. Thanks to the HoloLens feature, customers were provided a detailed explanation of the tractor’s parts and features. The Holographic tractor with Holocube allowed detailed descriptions.

The usage of immersive technology helped the farmers in promoting their tractors and increasing the brand visibility, thereby offering a unique experience to their prospective customers. The feedback received from customers has been positive; positive enough to have influenced their decisions.
