“Your employees learn by example. If they don’t see you practicing good safety habits, they won’t think safety is important.”

Maintaining safety at workplaces is not only essential but pivotal to the conduct of any business. Traditional training, statistics suggest, hasn’t been effective in completely controlling or putting an end to safety concerns. In consideration of the same, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized a two-day technical conference that brought together business magnets from across the country to present their views and experiments on Advanced and Industrial Safety Solutions. It was held on the 24th and 25th of September 2019 amidst the presence of about 250 + digital and industrial safety leaders.

TNQ InGage marked its presence at the occasion by explaining avid viewers and co-participants about the benefits of VR tools in Safety Training. The presentation, made by our Founder CEO Mr Vijay Karunakaran, covered Virtual Reality and Safety Training in terms of its benefits, use cases, the mode of experiencing VR, future projections and trends, etc.

The event was a big success. We found it so encouraging to be among participants who shared our notion of safety. The event, which dealt with various aspects of Digital Safety, ended with the consensus that the technology has the potential to curb the safety issues of today. We thank the Confederation of Indian Industry for providing us with an opportunity to be a part of this Forum.

The InGage family has been investing its time and effort in the Immersive Technology domain since the year 2012. We have worked with hundreds of scenarios and modules on safety, among other functionalities. A few of our endeavours in this regard pertain to the area of Fall Protection, Hazard Identification, Confined Space Safety, Fire Safety, among a whole host of others.

We find it a privilege to work with this most promising of technologies, the rapid growth of which comes as a surprise to even many technical experts. It is now envisaged to change the way people work, live, and consume entertainment – for the better. We hope that our endeavours create a safer and productive work climate in the years to come.
